We will meet in the morning at Käldinge fishing harbour in Nauvo and continue to Pensar where we will have breakfast at Pensar Syd. After breakfast we will start angling white fish, while some of you may try casting for pike or trout. After lunch we will continue fishing white fish. Half of the group may cast for pike or trout. At dusk we may grill our catch on fire. Besides grilling we will get tips and guidance in handling fish.

Fishing pike in SärkisaloSärkisalo is located in the Finnish south-western archipelago, c. 160 km west of Helsinki. Särkisalo is famous for its excellent pike and pike-perch waters. Over the years several exceptionally big pike individuals have been caught in these waters. The biggest pike ever caught in Finland by sports fishing equipment - 18,8 kg - was caught in Särkisalo in 1998. Winter fishing and cooking delicacies of sculpin and burbot at Pensar in Nauvo arhipelagoThe 2 day trip in February for fishing sculpin and burbot takes You to the island of Pensar in the Nauvo archipelago and familiarizes You and Your group in the secrets of winter fishing in the most captivating way. The trip starts at Granvik in Parainen and in about 45 minutes You will arrive at Pensar, where You will be accommodated in Pensar Syd, a holiday village with a historical past. Our guide will be a professional fisherman from the neighborhood, who knows the waters and the tricks of the fish. We will be ice fishing for burbot with a midday lunch break for a tasty burbot soup. After lunch we will take You to lift winter nets from under the ice. In kitchen You will learn to cook delicious fish dishes – burbot stew, burbot roe and sculpin tails – together with a professional chef. We will also prepare and eat marinated smelts, roasted parsnips and meat balls for dinner. At dusk we will continue ice-fishing for burbot.

Spend a day fishingA day on the island of Pensar can be carried out in every season. The fishing technique will be chosen by mutual agreement and according to the season. The size of the group may be 5-10 persons. The trip starts at Käldinge village harbour in Nauvo, wherefrom the transportation by boat to Pensar takes c. 10 minutes. After arrival accommodation and lunch. Fishing at sea. Late in the afternoon sauna bath and dinner. At dinner you may also taste a sample of your day´s catch prepared by the kitchen. Next morning breakfast and fishing at sea until lunchtime. After lunch departure for Käldinge in Nauvo.
